Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice

For the past 8 years we've endured inane catcalling and ridiculous names levelled against our President and our country by idiots from the left. Undermining our country in a time of war , all in the name of political partisanship, they've been a despicable bunch. Calling themselves patriots, they've done nothing but undermine our war against terror and try to demoralize our troops. Years ago, we called treason by its rightful name.
Lately they've been whining about any criticism (no matter how small or accurate) against the new President-elect. "Give him a break, give him a chance." We have and we will. He will be subject to the same intense scrutiny our man recieved, less the shrill whining and pointless character assassination that we've been subject to.
But we should not miss the opportunity to thank the four people listed in the subject field above. True patriots, who kept this country safe from attack for the past 8 years (a feat Bill Clinton could not accomplish in the same amount of time). While I don't agree with any politician's take on our porous dangerous borders , or profligate spending,  President George W. Bush  has proven himself to be an excellent wartime President. His leadership and clear moral character has been a refreshing change from Arkansas' Tobacco Road : neither he, nor his excellent veep, nor Rumsfield nor Rice has ever gotten the acknowledgment that they all truly deserved for setting up a National Security system and fighting our enemies on their turf instead of our own.
History will be exceedingly kind to these four true Patriots. Long after the Reids and Pelosi's and Murtha's have faded away into the mindless babble they deserve, these four will be looked at as shining examples of  true heroic American character.

Can you even imagine what a mess we would be in if Al Gore or John Kerry had been in office when America was attacked ?
You don't have to imagine it - we WERE attacked, many times, on Bill's watch. Nothing happened. Absolutely nothing.
Much has been made of  the President's cool and calm demeanor when  our country was being attacked. Personally, I like a cool leader - not a hothead , running without direction. One of the loudest voices in this argument was John Kerry's.
Did you know that John Kerry didn't hear about the attacks for 45 minutes, because by his own admission  he was asleep in his office? (and doesn't that speak volumes about the Democratic character..?)

God Bless George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleeza Rice and  Donald Rumsfeld. There are countless others, behind the scenes, but without the clear straight leadership  of our Commander in Chief  - resolute, unwavering  in his conviction or principles, seemingly untouched  by fickle public opinion easily swayed by a dangerous and corrupt media hellbent on giving away state secrets and trying to show America in the worst possible light. We will not see his like again (at least for the next four years). He has been kind, decent and thoughtful , even to his enemies. He has kept his honor even while the town around him falls into dissipation. A grateful public wishes President Bush and his aides well as private citizens - its a rest well-deserved. Thank you all for the service to your country, and the shining example to those around you - and that includes former Presidents from Plains -  who only criticize without solution, and try to bring this great Country down.

Why the enmity? Well, GW scared the left. He believes in God (they don't). He believes in the sanctity of marriage, and home, and country. All the things they do their damndest to whittle away. All the things that make America the greatest nation on earth.

I wish the incoming President well.
If Obama succeeds, we all succeed as Americans.
If  he doesn't, well, as Rush Limbaugh said the day after the election, that will be interesting too - because 'its the only way that stupid people learn.'

Amen.
