Liars to the Left of Us

Detroit has been charged with creating 365 prototypes of new hybrid cars to be given away to associates, at a cost to the taxpayer of 365 million dollars.
For those without calculators, that's a price tag of 1 million dollars per car.
 
Judge Sotomayor has been touted as a pick of George H.W. Bush's on all the news programs. At the best that's wishful Democratic thinking to get Republicans on board , at  worst its just another blatant lie perpetuated by libs and media everywhere.
 In fact, as was the custom of the time, she was handpicked by lugubrious liberal  Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
A lib in any other clothing, Sotomayor too believes that she's not merely a judge but ALSO a legislator (she said so, on tape) and that the Constitution is something that can be malleable and played with. 6 of her decisions made their way to the Supreme Court (5 were reversed, how's that for a record?) and she's been known to cite foreign law in her reasoning over United States matters.
 
On the other hand, you'd have to search far to find a worse choice than David Souter. But apparently not that far. Obama found one.
 
Finally Schmuck Schumer continues to pound the drum that our borders are more secure - less people sneaking over.  There's a reason, Chuck, and maybe even a simpleton like you can understand it. America (to quote BO last week) has no money. No money = no felons. Did you really think they were sneaking over for patriotic reasons??

American Criminal Liberties Union wants to free up prisoner photos.
Nancy Pelosi says the CIA lied to her.
 BO tells a European audience that Americans are 'arrogant.'
Four Muslim (and Muslim wanna-be's) arrested last night in their attempt to leave a car loaded with C-4 in front of a Jewish synagogue in the Bronx. They also purchase (from the FBI) a fake Stinger rocket to shoot down a plane.
Eric Holder says that Americans are STILL racist.
The President goes on the air in 7 minutes to talk about closing Gitmo (1 in 7 released so far returned to their former terrorist ways).
Where do these clowns come from? Why do gullible people consistently vote them into office?
 
There is a real and serious disconnect in this country . The far left loons have taken over the asylum.
Sleazy Senator from NY Schmuck Schumer says that 'now that the Borders are more secure ' its time to talk about blending the illegals in with real Americans. (Hey Schmuckie, the borders are quiet now because  we're in a recession. No money, no border jumpers. Get it?).
 
Obama says that his new "green house" standards on automobiles will cost the consumer an extra 1300.00 but 'you'll be able to realize the savings in 3 years with gas savings' (just HOW he knows this is a mystery because Opec manages gas prices, not the President. Oh, that's right, its just another in a long line of lies).
 
The fact that Americans scizzed out when they thought that GW was going to learn what books they take out of the library (which was merely Lib propaganda, it never happened) and now you have a guy in charge of your auto industry, your credit cards and your healthcare system WHO NEVER RAN ANYTHING SUCCESSFULLY IN HIS LIFE except for a bid for the Presidency,  is astounding.
 
I wonder what fresh hell these dangerous idiots will bring to the table today? Hmm?

Bye Bye, Pelosi!

I'm with Newt on this one. Its one thing to be a partisan but when you begin to put US citizens in harm's way, when you try to throw your nation's CIA under the bus in order to save your own aging buttocks, its time for Pelosi to step down.
The ineptitude of the statist  knows no boundary .  Pelosi cried that we needed a "truth commission" when she thought it was possible to prosecute those under the Bush administration who kept us safe for 8 years. Now that her own veracity is found to have serious schisms, she waffles and dodges and lies to save her own weathered skin. But the game is up.
She knew, she didn't know, she put someone else on the meeting because she knew the game was about future waffling, she had someone write a letter..You know what? None of it matters. The bottom line is this old windbag crone puts her party before she puts the safety of our loved ones.

Wanda Sykes is a Moron

You know I'll cop to enjoying Wanda Sykes in the past. I thought she had a good delivery, a few funny jokes. I've sat through  her dreary HBO special.Her performance at the Washington Dinner this past weekend , however, was the pits. She's gotten increasingly mean-spirited in her routines since the November election - especially on Leno's show.
 
 Her stand-up was insipid and mean-spirited.  I would have laughed at the jokes but there were none.
 
"If a stranger pulls up in a car and offers you a ride, and Dick Cheney does too, get in with the stranger."
 
Where's the joke? Vice President Cheney kept America safe for 8 years. I don't get it.
And its not for lack of trying or because I have no sense of humor. I write comedy. I get paid for it.
 
BO laughed heartily at all of her jokes, which proves (not that I was looking for any more proof) what a bonehead he really is.
 
No one will ever accuse the libs of getting facts straight. But pronouncing that "Rush Limbaugh wants the country to fail" several times is a bald-faced lie. Rush never said that. So if you start with a false premise , how do you build on that ? Sykes said she wanted Rush's kidneys to fail. Is that funny?
 I've witnessed this many times at hospital bedsides.  Trust me, its not funny. Only an untalented pinhead like Sykes (and the aforementioned  BO) would think it was.
 
Someone asked me tonight WHY i thought that liberals like Garofalo and Maher and Sykes and Belzer were so mean-spirited. I like to think its because they recognize that they are born losers. That they can't rely on facts or history or even common-sense so they have to strike back with whatever they have at their disposal : insults, names, and bald-faced lies.
Even the Speaker of the House - 3 heartbearts from the Presidency - has been shown to be a common  liar (see waterboarding meetings in the news last week) so why should second and third rate comedians be forced to be accurate?
 
Announcing to the world that you're a lesbian is cool; overcoming a serious medication addiction is something to scoff at.

Did he? Really?
We both listened to the same broadcast and that's what you came away with?
 
Holy crap. I can't believe I actually reccommended your comedy  to people at one time. What the hell was I thinking? (well at least i WAS thinking, and i guess that's where you and i part company)
