Media hack Mark Helprin (and its tough to single out any one so-called journalist because they all come from the same cookie cutter) is on New York radio at this moment talking to radio personality Don Imus about Obama's first 100 days.
Helprin gives BO an A+, he says, for his foreign policy (apparently bad mouthing America is now a foreign policy) and for 'being the first President in our lifetime who has a hand in writing his own speeches' (apparently this Time magazine reporter hasn't heard of Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon or (ulp) Jimmy Carter').
At one point in the interview, Imus suggested that Helprin was 'in the tank for Obama'.
Aren't they all?
Journalists are so out of touch with the mainstream, as well as the basic constructs of their own noble craft, that newspapers are losing money and deservedly going bankrupt (no confidence in your ability to tell the truth, boys and girls); formerly-respected reporters have become third rate political hacks and mouthpieces for the fifth column.
You can't say the WRITING wasn't on the wall....
